Isidoro Tapia holds a degree in Economics and Law from the Carlos III University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania). His professional career has been focused on the energy sector, first as a consultant in the firm Solchaga Recio y Asociados. Later, he worked as an advisor to the Secretary of State for Energy and, between 2010 and 2012, he was Secretary General of the IDAE. During this period he was also the Spanish representative at the international renewable energy agency IRENA. He currently works as a senior energy expert at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
