Dolores Huerta

Architect by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) since 1999, with additional training at the RWTH Aachen (Germany). Master in BIM manager. Dolores has been part of the GBCe team since 2009, where she has held the position of technical secretary, working in the coordination of the different areas of research, development of environmental assessment tools, training, communication and international relations. Since December 2020, she has been the general director of Green Building Council España (GBCe), a position she shares with Bruno Sauer, general director since 2015. Among her most outstanding tasks in the association are her participation in the organisation of the international congresses SB10Mad (Madrid 2010) and the World Congress “Barcelona Sustainable Building 2014”, as well as the coordination together with CONAMA of the reports of the Working Group for Rehabilitation (GTR) between 2012 and 2018, or more recently of the public participation process for the revision of the National Rehabilitation Strategy (ERESEE2020). She combines her dedication to GBCe with her professional work as an architect. She is a founding partner of CC60 Estudio de Arquitectura.
